Decker’s CT Lottery Fast Play Spot Wins Gold Pencil

To introduce a new way to play the CT Lottery to consumers, this TV spot focused on Fast Play’s speed and ease-of-play to engage new and existing players. In it, fantasy blends with reality as a customer’s skepticism over Fast Play’s speed is extinguished by a store clerk’s stoic yet quick response. The campaign that accompanied the spot was a national runner-up at the NASPL awards for best new game launch and took home a Gold Pencil at the 2021 CT Ad Club Awards.
Three weeks after launch, the Fast Play ticket generated $3.9 million in sales, approximately 20% of the year’s expected total. How’s that for fast?
